Neil Freeman is a GIS Developer on First Street Foundation’s data team.
Neil's professional practice includes geospatial analysis and critical cartography, with a focus on the analysis of large datasets. His clients have included Transit Center, the Architectural League of New York and the Museum of the City of New York. He previously served as the directory of digital communication at the New York City Department of Transportation.
Neil is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Pratt Institute, where he teaches at the Graduate Center for Planning and in the Spatial Analysis and Visualization Initiative.
Neil received a Bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College and a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from Harvard University.
