Leilani Rose is the Copywriter & Editor for First Street Foundation, where she crafts impactful content to drive the Foundation’s mission of building awareness and unlocking solutions to sea level rise.
Before joining First Street Foundation, Leilani was a consultant and freelance writer working in the business, tech, and travel industries in the U.S. and abroad, as well as the nonprofit sector. Her writing appears in widely read articles and materials from Inc.com, Bose Corporation, Pink Pangea, and Geektime, the largest international tech blog located outside of the United States.
Prior to living and working in the greater New York City area, Leilani spent several years in the Middle East, where she worked as a journalist and freelance writer, and taught English to at-risk populations.
Leilani has honed her skills through a diverse and eclectic educational background, including Script Analysis and TV & Film at the Barrow Group, renowned New York City Theatre School; an A.A.S. in Digital Media & Communications, with concentrations in English and Writing, from Raritan Valley Community College; and Branding, Business Development, Social Entrepreneurship, and Community Mapping at Bina, in Tel Aviv.
